Just Begin

I am so over the moon to welcome you to my brand spanking new blog (shop and website!). It\"s been a really busy time with River being born quite literally at the beginning of the first lockdown (in February 2020) and pretty-much just cracking-on with becoming a Mumma without all of the things I thought that i\"d be able to rely upon to guide and help me through. It has been a character-building year, that\"s for sure, and it\"s all been completely divine in its own beautiful, challenging and life-changing way.

Over the past few months, I have been using every spare minute, (not that there have been many!), behind the scenes to build my new website & shop and source some of the most beautiful, wellbeing enhancing products for my NourishMe Wellness boxes. I actually created a similar box at the end of 2018 and I really loved them but I don\"t think that the timing was quite right and I soon after fell pregnant so all of my energy was for my little cub growing inside of me. 

Fast-forward and year-or-so and being able to claim some time as my own again, I am channeling it back into my boxes and I am so happy with how they\"ve turned out. I started from scratch completely, a re-branding I guess as I wanted to create something completely unique, something really beautiful that made people happy by just looking at them. Without sounding dramatic, I really do feel great joy when I look at and pack my boxes for you.

I feel that now, more than ever, it is really crucial that we nurture ourselves and take the time we need to do what makes us feel happy an good. We\"ve been through a hell of a lot collectively and it\"s testament to the human spirit that we have pulled together and come out the other side. I think this time will be a lesson to us all and I know for a fact that I will never take human interaction and contact for granted - the two things I have most definitely missed the most.

I had to give myself a bit of a pep-talk ahead of starting the process of beginning again; self-doubt kicked-in and I wondered whether it was a step too far juggling motherhood, a home, a new business but in fact, taking the time to hone skills (like creating a website/blog/shop), and really taking myself and this new venture seriously has been a form of self care for myself and a way to let my creativity shine. I\"ve poured a huge amount of love into my boxes, hand-picking each item, designing and making and I hope that you can feel this love. Sounds a bit sentimental, doesn\"t it, but I believe that when something is created from the heart, it holds the most power to help others.

Please remember that YOU ARE MAGIC and THE MAGIC IS IN YOU. Nothing lasts forever and you will get through this. If there\"s something that you would like to begin, an idea that\"s been brewing or if you\"d like to make some changes in your life, my advice would be to Just Begin. How you\"ll get from A to B might not be mapped-out and it may take some time to figure out the best route but if you\"re anything like me, taking the first step is the hardest but after that, things begin to flow. I believe in you, go for it!
