2021 ~ Reflections
Hello lovely people,
I’m sitting here having a nice cuppa after a busy morning of shooting new stock for 2022 & I thought that it’d be nice to put pen to paper whilst I think about all of the amazing things that have happened for my business since I it launched in March.
You’ve kept me really busy and there have been lots of nap-time packing sessions, late nights designing and so, so much joy. It brings me so much happiness to put your orders together and the feedback I’ve had fills my heart.
It was a huge leap of faith for me and I had a few wobbles ahead of launch day but I feel so passionately about helping people to realise just how amazing they are with a good old dose of letterbox self care sunshine. It’s also enabled me to realise a personal dream too, ~ to utilise my skills and love of creating & designing and turning my ideas into products to lift the spirits.
Becoming a Mum during a pandemic made me realise that time is so precious and we must squeeze every ounce from each day and each opportunity ~ Squeeze The Day! River has given me direction, motivation and a greater sense of confidence in myself ~ I want him to believe in himself and to pursue his passions in life so I will continue to keep on keeping on (and he’s the best little helper, too)
Building your boxes has created so much happiness for me. It’s my own thing, it’s exactly what I envisioned it to be (and more), and the connection I have with my lovely customers is so special to me. You’ve become friends for sure and I am lucky to have had the opportunity to meet you via my little boxes of self care loveliness.
I’ve learned so many things in such a short space of time and I absolutely LOVE seeing your Build Your Own box product choices ~ A little insight into the things you love and I have so many new products ready for 2022 (think totes, jewellery & more celestial-themed treasures).
The NMWB Packages have proven really popular too, they are a great way of scheduling-in some lovely self care me “me time” for consecutive months (with the choice of 3, 6 or 12 month packages). Each month has a different theme and January 2022 is ‘Manifesting Dreams’. I’ve absolutely loved curating this box, it is B-E-A-U-T-iful!
I have 2 main highlights of the year, the first being the launch of my brand new website & shop which enables you Build Your Own box, Subscribe & choose curated gifts to-go. It took me many, many hours to build and there were a few tears of frustration shed but I did it and I love it!
The second is how much you loved the Boho Advent Calendar. One lovely customer said that she didn’t want it to end! I poured my heart and soul into it and many of the items were personalised to include names, phrases and tassel colour! I’ve already begun collecting ideas for the 2022 Advent ~ I can’t wait!
The year seemed to whizz-by ~ being Mama to a very cheeky toddler is the most incredible thing, the greatest gift & I am putting the finishing touches to the Magical Mama box which will be ready for the New Year. It’s so pretty.
With 2022 on the horizon, I just wanted to say a huge great thank you to each one do you who has supported my business whether it be via purchasing a box, sharing my page, telling a friend; whichever way, your kind words are what have kept me going and believing in myself and my business.
My word for 2021 was “Challenge”, somehow, call it intuition or insight, I knew that 2021 was going to be full of challenges, and it didn’t disappoint! A challenge is an opportunity for growth and expansion and I did lots of both! My word for 2022 is “Manifest” ~ the theme of January’s box is “Manifesting Dreams” so all the lucky subscribers can loom forward to an AMAZING box full of self care & manifesting goodies! I can’t say too much or I’ll ruin the surprise!
You can Subscribe to a monthly box of self care goodness, the theme of which changes each month. All I will divulge is the theme so you can begin to think about what the contents could be! In the meantime, a huge thank you again and I wish you a very merry Christmas and a happy, healthy and courageous 2022. It was another year of collective challenge but we made it and we should be so proud of ourselves.
